Who Speaks for God?
Many people in our post-modern world are searching for what is missing in their lives. They
have tried materialism, science, religion, politics, sex, drugs, music, and many other pursuits all
in the name of “finding themselves.” It has become popular to reject even the notion of
unchanging moral truth and instead to substitute a moral relativism. But many today are not
finding this to be fulfilling. So who speaks with authority? Who can settle this debate? Who
speaks for God?
At Blue Ridge Bible Church, we believe that God Himself has spoken to all mankind and put it
down in a book we call the Bible. Everything we need to know about living this life and the life to
come is there. We therefore seek to know and worship God through His written Word to us and
make Him known to our world by proclaiming His truth.
